Why would I hire a pooper scooper? Many people hire Crazy Critters Pet Care for Pet Waste Removal because they don't have time to keep up with the poop or because they find the chore unappealing.
Why should pet waste be cleaned from my yard? Most noticeably, objectionable odors occur where there is pet waste. Many types of bacteria, parasites, viruses, and diseases are found in dog waste. Dog waste is the most common carrier of whipworms, hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, parvovirus, coronavirus, giardiasis, salmonellosis, cryptosporidiosis, and campylobacteriosis. Some of these diseases can be transmitted to humans or other pets. In addition, flies can easily become a nuisance and spread disease. Keeping your yard clean will help protect your entire family.
What do you do with the waste you remove? That's up to you. We can leave the waste, double bagged, near or in your trash, so you can see how much waste was collected that week. Or we will gladly take the waste with us. How often should I have my yard cleaned? That depends on your personal situation. Many customers choose to have their yard cleaned once per week. However, if you have more than one dog you may need two or more visits per week. We will gladly work out a schedule that fits your personal needs. Do you offer any kind of odor reducer or sanatizer for my yard? Yes. At an additional charge, Crazy Critters will sanitize and/or deodorize your yard. If you are interested in this service please ask your Pet Waste Removal Technician for details. Do I have to be home when you clean my yard? No. As long as we have access to your yard, you do not need to be home in order for us to complete the cleanup. Will you work while our dogs are in the yard? We love animals and will work with your dog in the yard. However, if you know that your dog does not like strangers in the yard we would appreciate it if you could be available to meet with us until we are no longer a threat to them. Should I leave my gate unlocked? We will need access to your yard on our scheduled days. If you wish you can provide us with an extra key to your lock or leave it hidden somewhere in your front yard. It would be your decision to leave the gate unlocked if you so desired. What if we forget to have the yard ready when you arrive as scheduled? If you forget to unlock the gate or if the dog will not allow us to do our job, we will attempt to make contact with you via phone. If we cannot gain access to the yard, you will be charged the normal appointment fee for our visit to the home. Do I have to sign a long term contract? For our residential customers there is NO Contract to sign. We do have an agreement to pay that is required to be signed during your first service; however, you can cancel service at anytime. We do request a 48 hour notice so we can re work our scheduled routes What other services do you offer?
